Since playing with makeup and skincare is basically a hobby of mine, I thought I would give you some recommendations on things I personally have liked using (and might purchase again). I really like how this polish goes on. It's smooth and covers well. And stays put. My current favorite nail brand.
2. Clinique High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara
This stuff stays on. If you want a mascara that won't budge, you will like this. I recommend taking this off with a makeup remover that contains oil, so it can break it down. It won't give you crazy volume, but it does deliver on it's promise to lift lashes.
3. It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder
I talked about this powder in a different post here. I like to layer this over a lightweight liquid foundation for that flawless-skin-look. This can also be worn alone. It contains SPF 50. I wear the shade 'light' in the winter and 'medium' in the summer.
4. Kenra Brightening Conditioner
I just started using this hair care brand, and have really liked this conditioner. It doesn't leave my hair greasy or weighed down. Plus, it will protect my brown hair from turning brassy. I don't think I will be going back to my normal drugstore brand...
I don't always buy whitestrips but I feel like it's time I use them again. These are already on sale, so I'm going to give them a try. Who doesn't want bright white teeth in the summer?
6. Clinique City Block SPF 25 Sunscreen for Face
If you're not using a sunscreen for your face, you need to be. I wear this under my makeup. It's the last thing I put on before my foundation. Also, I like that it contains no chemical sunscreens. This is oil-free.
7. Billy Jealousy Three Amigos Beard Oil Set
I have never purchased this brand before; the beard oil is obviously for my husband. He likes trying new oils. This is an online only set.
8. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum
This is a cult favorite. I know so many people that swear by this serum (myself included). It's an anti-aging serum, but also helps your skin perform and look it's best. Apply this after you cleanse at night, and before you moisturize.
9. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Fragrance
I love this fragrance! It's light, sweet, and not too strong. Perfect for summer.
10. Clinique Dewy Delights Set
If you have oily/combination oily skin, you might like this lightweight moisturizer. Also, I like the overnight mask. The texture feels like a lotion and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. I use it when I need a little extra moisture. This set also comes with a tinted lip balm and face spray.
11. SugarBearHair Hair Vitamins
For anyone growing out their hair. They taste as good as gummy bears. A slightly trendy product for sure, but they work!
12. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray
This was the first setting spray I ever purchased. I put it in my makeup kit and used it on all my brides. I love this stuff. Perfect to keep makeup looking fresh in the heat and humidity.
13. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow
This may take just a little time to master, but I do like this product. It's a pomade for your brows. You brush this on with an angled brow brush. It fills my brows in and allows me to get the shape I want. Plus, I feel like this product is a great value because it lasts.
14. Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
When I first bought this, I was debating between buying this concealer and the radiant creamy concealer from NARS. I'm so glad I bought this one. No offense to NARS (I do plan on getting that one at some point) but this one is so good. I sometimes wear it alone, I bring it down on my cheeks and blend it out, treating it more like a foundation. My skin looks so luminous when I wear it.
15. It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50
I have heard so many good things about this product. I'm not ready to buy the full-size version so I'm going to try the sample size. For the size you get and the price you pay, this isn't a bad deal.
